We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Assistant to join our team. The Parts Assistant will be responsible for supporting the parts department with various tasks, including inventory management, ordering, receiving, and distribution of automotive parts and supplies. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a passion for automobiles and a desire to learn and grow within the automotive industry.
 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with ordering automotive parts and supplies from vendors, ensuringtimely delivery and accurate inventory levels.
   

• Receive incoming shipments of parts and supplies, inspecting and verifying quantities and quality.
   

• Organize and maintain parts inventory, including shelving, labeling, and tracking stock levels.
   

• Assist with the preparation of parts for repair jobs, including pulling and staging parts for technicians.
   

• Collaborate with the parts manager and other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
   

• Provide support to technicians and other departments by locating and providing needed parts and supplies.
   

Assist with other duties and projects as assigned by management.​

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a parts department or automotive environment is preferred but not required.
   

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
   

• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
   

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
   

• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
   

• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move heavy parts and supplies.
   

• Minimum of 3 years experience 
   

• ICAR / ASE certifications are a plus
   

• Competitive wages / flat rate commission-based pay
